How has my ticketing overview dashboard changed? (October 2025 update)

We have recently made some improvements and updates to the Audience Answers dashboard.  These are summarised below, but if you have any further questions about your ticketing data in Audience Answers, please contact answers@theaudienceagency.org

You’ll also find information on how the various insights are calculated in the footnotes at the bottom of your dashboard.

Date filters

Date picker in the overview dashboard

The default date range for your dashboard insights will be the last full quarter, versus the same quarter in the previous year. You can change this to month, quarter, financial year or calendar year by using the ‘Edit’ tool at the top of the dashboard

However, please note that the Audience Spectrum insights, further down your dashboard, will remain based on booker data from a fixed time period: the previous twelve full months.

Bookers

Bookers in the overview dashboard

This is a count of all unique bookers (including overseas bookers) who booked tickets for productions that took place within your selected primary and comparison date periods.

What's changed?

Previously, this was only a count of bookers which could be matched to a valid UK address. Now it will show a count of all unique bookers, including overseas bookers.

Average ticket yield

Average ticket yield in the overview dashboard

What's changed?

For Spektrix and Ticketsolve users:

This is now the total income divided by the total number of tickets with a face value greater than or equal to £0.01, for productions that took place within your selected primary and comparison date periods.

For all other ticketing systems:

Ticket yield remains calculated at a transaction level i.e. any £0 value tickets that were included in a transaction that also had tickets with a face value greater than or equal to £0.01 would have been included in the calculation.
